The place
Dalseter – a relaxed and genuine mountain hotel
At the top of Espedalen at 930 m.a.s.l. with a great panoramic view of the valley and Jotunheimen lies Dalseter, a family-owned and operated mountain hotel – where the 3rd generation of hosts welcomes you to great holidays in the mountains in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
Holidays with children, with friends – or simply a holiday alone to recharge your batteries? Do you love nature and outdoor activities, do you like it to be personal and unhurried?
Dalseter is a place where you can spend great days out in the mountains, and enjoy the lounges with chat, reading and games in the evening. Maybe you will make new acquaintances from other places and other countries – and maybe the children will make new friends?
If the weather is a bit grey and you don’t want to go out, we have a swimming pool, gym, table tennis and many board games. Up here we emphasize that young and old should enjoy their holiday at their own pace. Let the peace of the mountains take its place in your home too. Your holiday – your choices.

The hosts
Dalseter is a family-run hotel with long traditions, and our guests are welcomed with a genuine interest in the individual guest. The hosts at Dalseter today are Grethe Gillebo and Arnt-Ove Voldbakken who live on site year-round. Grethe took over the operation from her parents Erik and Elsa Gillebo in 1999, and is thus the 3rd generation owner and host of the place.
